GK8

GK8 holds an Anjouan (licence no. ALSI-202505017-FI1) gaming licence, verified against the official register. Older listings describe GK8 as Curaçao-licensed, but no supporting Curaçao licence number was established in this review.

Two cautions apply:

• GK8 holds an Anjouan (licence no. ALSI-202505017-FI1) gaming licence, verified against the official register.
• Light-touch regulator. Anjouan licences are renewed annually, and Anjouan offers little in the way of player dispute resolution. Industry guides rate it the lowest trust tier among the licences Malaysian-facing casinos use.

On the positive side, GK8 says its RNG games are tested by independent labs including BMM, and its live and slot content comes from established studios that hold their own certifications.

GK8's Trustpilot profile (gk8premium.com) showed a TrustScore of 4.6 from 24 reviews at the time of review, 96% of them five-star. Reviewers praise very fast deposits and withdrawals. Trustpilot notes the company has not invited reviews recently, so the sample is small and may not be representative. The single one-star review, from August 2025, describes about RM22,000 in sports winnings being withheld over alleged betting misconduct. That is the most common type of dispute at Asian sportsbooks: read the bonus and betting rules before placing large or correlated bets.

To withdraw, you verify your phone and email, then upload a MyKad or passport and proof of address. Withdrawals from unverified accounts can take up to two days, while verified accounts are usually paid within minutes. The name on your bank or e-wallet must match your GK8 account.

No online casino or bookmaker holds a Malaysian licence. Gambling is governed by the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953 and the Betting Act 1953, which license only land-based operators, lotteries and Genting. In October 2023 the Court of Appeal ruled that online gambling is an offence under the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953, and the authorities regularly block offshore gambling domains. Muslims are barred from gambling under Syariah law. Domain blocking is also why GK8 runs several addresses, such as gk8chang.com, gk8marina.com and gk8selangor.com, and why lookalike sites are common.

GK8's live lobby is one of its strengths for Malaysian players. It includes Evolution plus the Asian studios Malaysians play most: SA Gaming, Dream Gaming, WM Casino, Asia Gaming and Sexy Baccarat (AE Sexy). That gives a wide choice of baccarat, Dragon Tiger, Sic Bo, roulette and blackjack tables, with Asian dealers and Chinese and English commentary.

There are more than 2,000 slots from PG Soft, Pragmatic Play, Jili, Spadegaming, Playtech, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Microgaming, Habanero, CQ9, Joker Gaming and iSoftBet. That covers both Asian favourites (PG Soft, Jili, Joker) and big Western studios.

GK8 puts its sportsbook, esports, live casino, slots and table games in one wallet, and runs six betting engines: BTi, IBC, CMD Sports, SBOBET, IM Esports and TF Gaming.

GK8 puts six sports and esports engines under one wallet:

GK8 has a native Android app, a small download (about 7.7 MB) installed as an APK from GK8's own site. There is no iOS app, but the mobile site works well in Safari and can be added to the home screen. The sportsbook engines, live casino and cashier all run on mobile. Only install the APK from a link on the official site or one confirmed by GK8 live chat, since lookalike APKs are a common way to steal logins.

Slots and live tables at GK8 play fast: a spin or a Speed Baccarat hand takes seconds. Decide your budget before you start.

Before your first deposit, open your GK8 account settings and set a deposit limit, and use a time-out or self-exclusion if you need a break. If the site does not offer a tool you need, ask support to apply it.

If gambling stops being fun, free and confidential help is available: MIASA Crisis Helpline on 1-800-18-0066 (24/7) and Befrienders Kuala Lumpur on 03-7627 2929. For other countries, see our Responsible Gambling page. You must be 18+ (21+ at some operators) to play.

1. Open the official GK8 site through the link on this page. Don't use links from Telegram groups or unknown agents.

2. Tap Join and enter a username, password, your full name, mobile number and email. Use your real name, since it must match your bank or e-wallet.

3. Verify your phone and email, then choose MYR.

4. Upload your MyKad or passport and proof of address early, so withdrawals are paid in minutes rather than days.

5. Deposit MYR 50 or more by FPX, DuitNow, Touch 'n Go or USDT if you want a bonus, and pick the one that suits how you bet.

GK8 is scored on our casino scorecard, the same 12 weighted criteria we use for every casino. See How We Rate. Each criterion is scored out of 10 and weighted to give a total out of 100.

GK8 scores 78/100. Its Anjouan (licence no. ALSI-202505017-FI1) licence has been verified against the official register. It is built for Southeast Asian bettors and does that job well. You get six sportsbook engines in one wallet, including SBOBET, IBC and CMD Sports; one of the best Asian live casino line-ups we have seen, with SA Gaming, Dream Gaming, WM, Asia Gaming, Sexy Baccarat and Evolution; FPX, DuitNow, Touch 'n Go and USDT from MYR 30; and withdrawals that verified players say arrive within minutes.

It loses points on trust. GK8’s Anjouan (licence no. ALSI-202505017-FI1) licence has been verified, but player protection under Anjouan is weak, and the frequent domain changes make it easy to land on a lookalike site. The second-deposit sports bonus at 35x is hard to clear. If you still choose GK8, it fits Malaysian players who want Asian sportsbook choice and Asian live tables in one account. Verify your account early, confirm bonus terms with live chat, and only log in from a bookmarked or live-chat-confirmed address. Compare it with other options in our sports betting guide.
