Understanding Handicap (Asian Handicap)

Asian Handicap is a betting method designed to level the playing field between two teams by giving one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage.

How It Works:

• A stronger team may start with a negative handicap (e.g. -1)
• A weaker team may start with a positive handicap (e.g. +1)

Example

• Team A (-1) vs Team B (+1)
• If Team A wins by 2 or more goals → Team A wins the bet
• If Team A wins by exactly 1 goal → Bet is a push (stake returned)
• If Team A draws or loses → Team B wins the bet

Asian Handicap removes the draw outcome, making it a two-way result.
