José Mourinho, the manager of Real Madrid, has addressed the upcoming January transfer window. Despite the team's significant outlay ahead of the 2026/27 season, which will reduce his budget at the start of the calendar year, Mourinho is not concerned.
He plans to keep Endrick Felipe at the club and is focused on improving the team with the players already on hand. "Eder Militao will be back in the squad soon," Mourinho said. "I'm not asking for signings, I'm happy. The players are improving, especially if we have time and peace."
Mourinho emphasized that he prefers a smaller squad and only considers new signings if an existing player leaves. "If the board considers something, we'll evaluate it, but I don't take the initiative to request players," he explained.
Militao's return from injury has reduced the number of long-term absentees to just two: Rodrygo Goes and Raul Asencio.
