RB Leipzig head coach Martin Demichelis has praised Yan Diomande, a teenager who will be competing against some of the world's best players in the upcoming match against Real Madrid.
Diomande has made 11 appearances this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists as he adjusts to his new surroundings.
As Real Madrid prepares to face RB Leipzig at the Santiago Bernabeu, Demichelis praised the young player and noted that his team must be ready for a challenging test.
"I have had the chance to watch him on television or a computer, but not on the pitch," Demichelis explained in an interview. "He is one of those players who can make a difference on both the left and right sides, thanks to his excellent ball control and handling with both feet."
Demichelis also discussed the team's strategy for facing Real Madrid, stating that they will need to be alert to the Spanish team's quick attacking transitions and find a balance between defense and offense.
Real Madrid is currently eighth in the Champions League table, having earned six points from two matches, including a 2-1 victory over Inter Milan and a 4-3 win over Roma.
