Rodri Set to Return for Barcelona vs. Real Madrid Clash

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that midfielder Rodri will return to the starting lineup for the team's upcoming match against Real Madrid. Flick made this decision after Rodri was rested at the start of their Champions League loss to Paris Saint-Germain.

In a statement, Flick said he spoke with Rodri this morning and informed him of the decision to start Marc Bernal instead. Flick believes this was a good solution, and hopes Rodri will be fresh for Sunday's match.

Rodri came on after an hour of the game in Paris, as Barcelona's perfect record this season came to an end. Despite being down twice, the team managed to tie the score twice, with goals from Xavi Espart and Lamine Yamal. However, Barcelona ultimately lost the game after a goal from Fabian Ruiz.

Flick acknowledged that the team made too many mistakes, particularly in possession. However, he also saw many positive aspects of the game, which he believes will serve as a valuable test for the team. Flick emphasized the importance of learning from the game and improving their performance.

The coach also reminded the team that winning titles is not a priority at this point in the season. He stated that the focus should be on the long-term goal of winning the Champions League in June.
