AC Milan Supports Fans Boycotting Udinese Match Over High Ticket Prices

AC Milan has expressed its support for fans planning to boycott a Serie A match against Udinese due to high away ticket prices.
The club stated that the cost of away tickets places an unfair burden on travelling fans and undermines the unity of the league.
AC Milan also urged Serie A to consider introducing a league-wide cap on away ticket prices, similar to the Premier League's cap of 30 pounds (approximately 40 dollars).
The club warned that they could adopt a reciprocal policy, where fans of clubs charging above-average prices to Milan supporters could face higher ticket costs when visiting San Siro.
AC Milan suggested that additional proceeds from the reciprocal policy could be donated to Fondazione Milan to support charitable initiatives.
The club emphasized that Italian football cannot grow stronger by treating supporters differently based on the size of their club.
Ticket pricing has been a longstanding issue for fan group Curva Sud, which boycotted Milan's away match at Juventus in 2023 in protest.
The supporters' group has also complained about prices charged for Milan's fixtures against Juventus and accused Torino of overcharging visiting fans.
