AC Milan extended their unbeaten Serie A start to eight games with a 2-0 win over Udinese. Christian Pulisic scored an early goal to help the team achieve this feat for the first time since 2021.
Udinese had a difficult start to the match, with AC Milan responding well to their initial struggles. The hosts had a few chances to equalize, including a 25-yard drive by Hassane Kamara that was saved by the goalkeeper, and a strike by Fikayo Tomori that went wide.
Despite these opportunities, AC Milan continued to threaten Udinese. The hosts' goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, was busy throughout the match, making several saves to prevent Udinese from scoring.
AC Milan's pressure paid off when they doubled their advantage midway through the match. Omari Hutchinson scored the second goal after the Udinese goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, pushed a low strike by Ardon Jashari back out into the six-yard box.
The match remained intense, with Udinese creating some chances, including a 25-yard drive by Jesper Karlstrom that was saved by Maignan, and a strike by Mergim Vojvoda that went off target.
AC Milan was able to see out the game and avoid a fourth successive away league draw. They also moved into the UEFA Champions League qualification spots. Udinese, meanwhile, are outside the relegation zone only on goal difference, and have now lost four consecutive head-to-heads at Stadio Friuli.
