High-Profile Footballers Face Burglary Threats in Spain

Eder Militao, a defender for Real Madrid, had his house burglarized during a match against Barcelona. The burglary occurred on Sunday, and according to reports, the thieves took jewelry and watches valued at €350,000.

Militao's family was in the house, watching the match on the ground floor, but did not notice anything suspicious.

This incident is part of a series of burglaries targeting high-profile footballers in Spain in recent years.

Other notable cases include former Barcelona forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who suffered a broken jaw during an armed robbery in 2022. Additionally, Real Betis striker Troy Parrott and former PSG goalkeeper Sergio Rico were also victims of robberies this month.
