Everton Secures Second Win Over Newcastle in Five Days

Everton earned their second win over Newcastle United in five days, thanks to Thierno Barry's 49th-minute goal. This victory ended Everton's nine-game winless streak on the road in the Premier League.

Despite failing to test Newcastle's goalkeeper, Lukas Hornicek, the Magpies had a close call in the 17th minute. Dan Burn, who scored the consolation goal in their previous match, headed the ball wide from a corner kick.

Everton maintained their lead, and Merlin Rohl had a chance to score when he shot over the goal. Later, Thierno Barry had a great opportunity to score, but he missed the ball when trying to kick it from close range, leaving only Hornicek to beat.
