Tenerife forward Jesus de Miguel dies in tragic accident

The match against FC Andorra was stopped with seven minutes remaining in stoppage time after De Miguel collapsed following a collision with away goalkeeper Jesus Owono. The goalkeeper had rushed out of his area to clear a long ball and struck De Miguel in the chest with his knee.

Medical staff treated the player on the pitch for over five minutes before he was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
