Manchester United eye Manchester City defender for left-back role

Manchester United is considering signing Manchester City defender Rayan Ait-Nouri to address their left-back shortage.

The Algerian international made 28 appearances for City in his debut campaign, but only started 17 matches.

Ait-Nouri has not played in a Premier League or UEFA Champions League match under Enzo Maresca in the 2026/27 season, and according to Sky Sports expert Florian Plettenberg, he may be open to a transfer for around £35M.
