AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim is emphasizing the importance of consistency for his team.
After a 3-0 loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League, AC Milan bounced back with a 3-1 win over Inter in the Derby della Madonnina, but Amorim is looking for his side to maintain a consistent level of performance.
In the lead-up to the Europa League match, Amorim told reporters that consistency is key, particularly in a high-stakes competition like the Europa League.
"This is the Europa League, and for us, it's a very important game," Amorim said.
"What matters most is maintaining consistency, not just the result.
Amorim noted that his team has shown the ability to perform well in different situations, whether it's in Serie A, Serie B, or the Europa League.
"We can lose any game, and we can win any game," Amorim said.
"It depends on how we approach the game.
Amorim also highlighted the fact that teams now have access to more information and resources, which can make it easier to prepare for games.
"Everyone knows everyone, players have the technical abilities, and coaches have the tools and footage to prepare for the games," Amorim said.
Amorim's goal is for AC Milan to perform well in the Europa League and potentially go all the way in the competition.
