Sunderland Faces Most Demanding Challenge in History

Sunderland's manager, Regis Le Bris, has acknowledged that the team is facing a challenging period in their history. The club is currently at the bottom of the Premier League table and is struggling to cope with the demanding schedule.

Despite this, Sunderland remains unbeaten in European competitions, having won two games and drawn one in their first three matches. They are set to face Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday, November 5.

When speaking to reporters ahead of the game, Le Bris emphasized that the team's current situation is a result of their growth and the challenges that come with it. He stated that the team is experiencing the most demanding challenge in their history, which includes balancing Premier League relegation with Europa League and cup competitions.

Le Bris acknowledged that the team's hectic schedule, with games every three days, is more demanding than preparing for a single game with a full week to prepare. He also noted that the team's players have varying levels of experience with this type of situation, and that it is a new journey for many of them.

Le Bris expressed confidence in the team's abilities, stating that they are still competitive and trust their level of performance. However, he emphasized that repeating consistent performances is the next step for the team.
